Instead of backing my 1, 500 pics up to the computer when I sent my iPhone 4 to be repaired, i backed them up to iCloud. Upon getting my phone back I restored from the most recent iCloud backup. I got everything back, apps, music, background. Everything. Except my photos. It said they backed up but I can't find them and they didn't sync over. Any suggestions?
Whenever I'm making a call on my iPhone and need to input numbers (credit card number while calling the bank, voicemail password, Phone selection menu etc) the screen goes black.
If I tilt it around it flashes on and off but unless i lie it on a flat surface to put the numbers in it stays off. My last iPhone did this too so it's not a fault (unless I'm really unlucky).
How do I stop this from happening?! Its driving me insane!
Growing up with the slop that passed as an os aka windows I'm used to more available software or at least in this department… I have Linux mint 14 running and I absolutely love it. As a matter of fact I only go into windows to game and on my other drives I have Debian Ubuntu and fedora… Anyhow I have real vnc on my iPhone and on windows I could run tightvnc server and connect remotely to my pc… Is there anything that would work for Linux like that or even tight vnc server itself for mint.
Additional details: I'm not a complete stranger to terminal however I much prefer gui
So I'm in the market to get an iPad mini and I'm very hesitant to spend the $100 extra for 32gb since I already have a 16gb iPhone 4S.Am I correct in this thinking? And how could I allocate storage between the two devices if it is enough?
I'm getting the 4s soon and I can't decide which of these two cases to get.
Perks of the Otterbox is that it has a built in screen protector, it will protect your iPhone no matter what. But I don't like how it's so bulky.
Perks of the Candy Shell is that its way slimmer than the Otterbox, and it's shock absorbent. But I'm not sure if it'll protect the phone just as good as an Otterbox.
So i bought a prepaid activation kit from amazon and activated it today. I inserted the micro into my factory unlocked iphone 4 and the No service text shows. I really don't know why this is happening. I'm pretty sure its factory unlocked and i put $30 in the account. I'm running ios 5.1.1.
I'm trying to use my Wi-Fi hotspot in my iPhone 4S for my Xbox 360 but it's really slow and has a lot of buffering. Is their anyway to make my hotspot faster?

How do I use Straight talk on unlocked iphone 5? Do they provide nano sim?
My buddy lost his iPhone 5 (but it may have been stolen). He has the "find my iPhone" app as well as the "find friends" app. The problem is he didn't register the "find my iPhone" and he has the find friends app turned to "hide me" mode.
Is there any other way to track down his phone? He could lose his job over this…
Can he activate any of these apps through iCloud? Any solutions would help.
