I was just wondering, because my friends say you have to let it drain down to 0 and then re-charge it as soon as you get the phone. And I got the phone yesterday. Is this true, and should I let it die out and then charge it?

So the pump sprayed onto me, but nonetheless I took a shower and I think i'm fine. But i was holding my phone and my phone got sprayed with gasoline. I put this question on before but i hadn't specified it was an iphone so I can't remove the battery from it. Luckily it has a case which I have taken off and a screen protector which I have thrown in the trash. I have heard it is bad to use, but i'm wondering what I should do!
It has come down to this:
- I'm done with Android.
- I already have an 8 GB iPod Touch for music, so wouldn't need a 16 or 32 GB phone.
- I know iPhone 5 just came out, but there are supposed minimal differences. In fact, I like the physical aspect of iPhone 4 better. Shorter, yet stronger.
- I'm always on Wi-Fi (most of the time) because I'm a college student. Don't need 4G, really.
- It is free for Verizon, and my old contract just finished.
Anything I'm missing?
Added (1). CORRECTION: iPhone 4. The 4S only comes in 16 GB for $100. I want the 8 GB free one.
Today, my phone cracked and I want to replace it. So can you exchange a cracked iPhone 4 for a new one? If not can you get the screen fixed and how much would it cost to get your screen fixed?
I would like to know why you choose the phone you choose and the pros and cons. I need to know pretty soon.
I just purchased an iphone 4 two days ago (Monday.) According to the tracking information my iphone should be delivered by today ( December 5th.) However, the order status is still under processing. I got the at&t carrier.
My brother took my iphone and put in the wrong pass code multiple times and now its disabled and says connect to iTunes. Well i did. It did nothing. So then I clicked on my device and I clicked 'restore iPhone' but it says it'll delete data? Will this delete all my pictures and music that ISN't backed up? And what can I do if it does delete it? Are there other ways to un disable my iPhone?
I turned my jailbroken iphone 4 off today and now it won't turn back on. It just goes to the apple logo for a while then back to a black screen. I've tried the recovery fix and just boot features with redsnow I've also tried using Tiny umbrella and iReb to fix it but nothings working.
