Can I transfer pictures from my computer to iphone 5 without using iTunes?

I can't download iTunes onto my computer. It's too old and too many error messages downloading it on windows xp. I have a bunch of pictures I want on my iphone 5… Backed up from my old droid phone. Is there a way around iTunes? Plus can I put music onto my phone from computer to iphone without iTunes? This is the only thing I hate about iPhones. You have to use iTunes for everything!

Wi-Fi Disabled on Sony Vaio?

All of the wireless connections on my Sony Vaio laptop are disabled. It will not recognize any connections. It says there aren't any available. There are connections available because I'm using my Wi-Fi connection on my Apple TV and iPhone. I have turned on the switch on the computer to enable the Wi-Fi but it won't work. The network adapter is also enabled.

Can I change my black iPhone 4 to a white one?

Okay, so I just want to make this clear. I'm VERY happy with my black iphone 4. I couldn't ask for anything better. I received my iPhone from my parents for Christmas. Therefore I did not get to pick if I wanted black or white. I actually didn't think I would even get one. I just put it on my list as iPhone just joking around knowing that I would never get one. Anyways I didn't get to pick. I was wondering can I take my iphone somewhere so that they can switch the black front and back to white? If so, where and how much would that cost? Or is there any type of case or something that I could put on it but I could still put other cases over it? Again, I'm honestly just curious. I prefer the white iphone, but I'm perfectly fine with my black one.

Should I wear gloves when dealing with small electronic components?

I'm going to replace my iPhone 4S Screen. Which requires me to gut the whole phone in order to get to the screen. I'm pretty confident that it will be successful. But I'm aware that my oils or static can destroy (i don't know) the components. Would it be a good idea to wear latex gloves or something?

Added (1). What kind of gloves should I wear? Latex? Plastic? Plastic has static right?

Would my iPhone warranty be valid?

I have an iPhone 4 that stopped working. If there were no signs of water damage, would Apple have to replace it even if it's no longer under contract with AT&T (I have a 4S now.)?
