What device should I buy for school?

I'm looking for a new device for school, because my laptop broke. I was thinking of getting an iPad over a laptop. I have never good luck with laptops as I can't afford to spend a lot of money and they always break quickly. I have an iPhone, which I love! And I have always loved apple products but their computers and laptops are way too expensive. If I got an iPad I would probably get the first
generation, as I don't think I need a camera. I just need to be able to type papers, do powerpoints, and email. I have two ways I can print in my house. I have a wireless printer, that isn't set up yet as my brother or my dad hasn't had time. Or, I would just do it the old fashioned way, email it to my self then print it from my brothers computer. That's really it. I'm not big into the gaming stuff. Also, I would buy a keyboard for it.So, I guess I ha e a couple questions for you.

Would a iPad get me through high school? I have 3 years left?
Would spending a little more money on an iPad 2 be worth it?
Or, should I get a laptop? I feel like an iPad would last longer… My laptop would have to be something cheap, that would run good and last me awhile, any suggestions?

I'm seriously leaning towards an iPad, because it is Easy to use(I'm terrible with technology), it can do the basic things I need it to do, and cheaper, it seems to last longer, and more portable than a laptop.

What do you think? Any advice or suggestion would be appreciated!

How to import photo albums from iPhone 4S into Windows 7?

When I use windows explorer I only see 4 folders all of which contain photos from my camera roll, but am unable to access each individual photo album…

How do I import the photo albums (not the entire camera roll) one by one into my Windows 7 PC?

Oh, and are there any free apps or freeware that I can use? (Would still prefer using windows explorer though)

How to transfer my videos from my iphone to my computer and be able to play it?

I have a lot of video on my phone and it is taking up to much data, so i want to transfer it to my computer so i can have more room for music. I tried transfer it and got some on my computer but when i try playing them the computer says that windows media play can't play this file because of something. How can i do this please someone help. Also i looked up videos on youtube and they do not help

Y won't my iPhone turn fully on?

Ok i tried putting a new battery hard reseting it and it won't connect to iTunes and all its dooing is when i turn it on it says the battery's dead like when you first plug it in then when you see the apple logo it seems like its gunna boot up the. The circle loading thing comes over the logo and freezes only way to turn it back off is to hard reset it i think its the logic board but maybe not what else is there to try with out sending it back its nonjailbroken thanks

Which electronic device should i get?

So I'm going to buy a new Black Berry instead of having iPhone 4 So what do you think is better in applications and does Black Berry have as many applications as apple iphone?
