How to unlock my iphone 4? - 1

My buddy gave me his iPhone 4 because he upgraded to the newest one. It used to be with at&t. I know you can call them and they will unlock it if you give the old at&t account number, social security number or some other stuff. But heres the thing we're no longer friends and he is well being a but and won't help me out with it so basically i can't use it until I unlock it. I want to unlock it so I can't use it with a different carrier.

Anybody know something i could download that won't hurt my computer to unlock it or a chip i can put in my phone? Anything…

Should iPhone be burning hot after water damage?

I dropped my phone in the toilet. Unfortunately I was too late and could not turn it off. The light next to the camera started blinking soon after and the screen went black after a minute. I took out my sim card, dried it, and put it in a bag of rice. But then the light continued to blink and the iPhone was burning hot! So i put it in a bowl of ice to cool it down a bit( while still in the plastic bag, don't worry internet). After a while the light stopped blinking but it was still very hot. I've now taken it out of the ice and it's not burning but I don't know if it's working or not. What should I do? Is it normal for it to have been so hot or is completely fried and I shouldn't bother fixing it?

How to turn off the flash on my IPHONE 4?

NO. Not photo flash. I dropped my phone into a puddle. Of course there's water damage. Nothing is working. Other then the flash light next to the camera. Its been on for a while, I tried turning the phone of doesn't work. Does any one have any ideas?

Unlocked iPhone 3 not recognizing T-Mobile SIM card?

I unlocked my iPhone using redsn0w and it worked perfectly, but when I put in my SIM card it just says "searching" at the top. I tried using a new SIM and my old one but neither are working (both are from T-Mobile). Should I wait awhile longer or do I need to do something else now?

Why did Apple stop making White iPhone 3GS?

I've been looking to buy a new phone and I'm thinking about getting iPhone but I can only afford and iPhone 3GS and I was really hoping to get a White iPhone 3GS but AT&T doesn't have White iPhone 3GS. I'm assuming Apple stopped making them. Why did they stop making them?/

Iphone storage keeps filling

My storage right now is full… I delete apps n stuff, turn cellular data off and close all apps. So say I've deleted a 50mb app I now have 50mb free… Go to storage usage it will say 49.9mb left go back in 10 minutes it will say 37.8mb left eventually all way back to 0gb left on your iphone available…

Baiscally i purchased an iPhone 4s of a seller on eBay for £380 he has good ebay feedback and made good communication with me. Transfered the money over by paypal he sent the goods opened the iPhone box. And everything is there. ACCEPT THE IPHONE! What do i do? I need that money back!

How to change google search timezone on iPhone?

I live in the UK but when I recently returned from a holiday in Japan, google search on my iPhone has set Japan as my timezone. So when I search for something time related (e.g. 'time in uk') the result presumes I'm in Japan. My search is.co.uk and my iPhone clock is correctly set to uk, it's just the timezone when I perform a search. My iphone settings appear to be correct.
