I'm asking this question with particular regards to replacing the front and back panels of an iPhone 4 or 4s.
I understand that the Pentalobe screwdriver has been implemented by Apple with its products but I'm not sure whether a Phillips screwdriver is also needed. Particularly in regards to replacing a front LCD plate.
I purchased a couple TV episodes and seasons on my Apple TV, and usually when I make purchases on my other devices; iPhone, iPod. They all automatically download so I went to try and check for downloads in iTunes and they never showed up or are on here. Can you help me? Do all my purchases just stay on my Apple TV and I can't take them anywhere else?

I have a 3GS which has just started having issues with 3G connection. It refuses to receive SMS messages, but I'm able to send them. I have tried to reset network settings, turn off iMessage, restart numerous times to no avail. The only way I can make it work is to turn off 3G, turn the phone off and on which allows SMS to be received.
Am I missing something obvious as to why it's having a mini meltdown?
So recently, i got the screen and backplate replaced on my iPhone 4 by an aisian guy in a mall in SF. I noticed the backplate wasn't stuck on there as tightly as the stock apple one was. But, i decided to visit him after the trip to ireland. I left the next day, and here i'm a week later. Last night i charged my iPhone 4 to 100%, unplugged it, and layed in my bed playing field runners. After an hour, it was already down to 44%, then just died. When i tried to turn it back on, it says to connect it to the charger, the battery was empty. After trying to turn it on numerous times over the next 10-15 mins, it came back on, and what do you know? 44% battery. Then, after 5 mins of use, it died, couldnt turn it back on. I just plugged it in, and its recharging from 12%. WTF is going on!
So out of nowhere, my power button stopped working. I have to use the home button to turn the screen on, and I can't turn the phone off, I just wait until it goes off by itself. I got it last November an it's been less than a year, am I still under warranty? What should I do? How much does it cost to get it fixed?
Okay I want a really cool free app to edit photos and make them look really cool for my iPhone and I already have a lot that I'm not satisfied with:/ and yes I have instagram! Any ideas please help!
My locations service is grayed out on my iphone 3gs and in the off position.
I've been to restrictions in the settings>general and it wants a code which i can't remember.
I can't use the back up facility as i recently had to format my my HDD (virus)

Is it possible to turn an iPhone 4 into a 4s? I saw a guy on YouTube that changed his iPhone into an iPod by editing some files in his springboard.app folder. And I saw another guy that restored a backup from his iPhone 4s to his iPod 4 and it asked I'd he wanted Siri enabled at the setup of the device but of course it didn't have Siri because it wasn't in the backup. So I was wondering, if all the device ID information is in the springboard.app, couldn't you take certain files from an iPhone 4s and copy them to an iphone 4 and then when you plug it in iTunes it will recognize as iPhone 4s? If so, couldn't you restore it to the newest software and it will give you iPhone 4s software with Siri? Or would there be problems with something? Does it not identify it by its software? Does it know what the device is by the udid? I'm asking out of curiosity.
Today me and my friend were at Walmart. He took a car charger and two iPhone cases. I told him he was being really loud and obvious and that there were people everywhere, and even walked away from him at one point. I honestly just wanted to get out of there. He stuck on of the iPhone cases in my purse and I didn't know it. The minute we walked out the door this lady came and got us and said she was security. They accused me of being his look out. They took both of our IDs and filled out some paper work. The woman called the police because the amount of the murchandise was 60 dollars. My friend is only 16 so she called his parents and said he might go to juvie depending on what the cop says. I'm 17 and turn 18 on Friday so I'm considered an adult. She didn't call anyone for me but told me I would most likely go to jail. When my friends mom got there she said we would have to pay a fine of 150 dollars that Walmart would mail to us and that we would be in the Walmart system as shoplifters. She said some other crap about this going on our record and never being able to get a job in retail. Luckily for us, the cops didn't show up soon enough and she had to let us go.So, since the cops never came and no fingerprints or photos were taken and we had to sign nothing, will this actually go on my CRIMINAL record or just the Walmart one? I've never been in trouble before so I really don't want this hanging over me.
