I have to do a project about the Status symbols in the united states nowadays. For example in my country an iPhone is an status symbols because just the people who have lots of money can get it. I would like to know what inventions, objects, etc are the status symbols in the united states.

I like to use the Internet on my iPhone, but a lot of the time I have difficulty reading the words on the screen, because they're so small. Is there any way that I can magnify the words on the screen?

How to recover pictures from an iPhone?

I forgot the password on an old iPhone and don't care if I have to reset it to it's factor settings but there are some pictures on the phone that I really want. Is there a way to bypass the password just to upload the pictures before I reset it?
I no longer have the same computer so I can't even connect it to the same iTunes server I had it with before.
Hope someone out there knows how to do this.

Can you put the iphone on the verizon inpulse plan?

I've been using the Verizon inpulse plan on my Original Lg Env for a few years now, and I want to possibly upgrade to the Iphone. My question is, if I buy an Iphone from ebay or some other place with no contract, can I switch the phone on to my original Inpulse plan and use it like my Env?

In case you don't know, to switch phones on an inpulse plan all I have to do is call a number on the new phone I want, type in my phone number, and then wait for it to activate. I don't see a reason why this wouldn't work, but at the same time I know apple puts all sorts of cards and signals and whatnot into the phones to make sure that we can't use their phones without expensive contracts like this. But if hell freezes over and I can actually do this, let me know.

My iPhone Charger is scratched up, would you still use it?

My clumsy dad always vacuums things up he shouldn't. I came back from doing errands and found my charger with black smudges and scratches. Little pieces of the USB adapter was chipped but nothing huge. I plugged in my phone to see if it still charged well and it did. I don't know if something might have messed up inside the charger an maybe mess up my battery but it charges fine. What's your guy's opinion, would you continue to use it?

How to unlock iphone 4S 5.1.1?

A friend asked me to unlock her iPhone 4s running on 5.1.1 to be able to use anywhere in the world, she originally bought it in the US. I know how to jailbreak it with Absinthe, but all tutorials online to unlock this version is with a program in cydia that requires your original simcard and the new one you are planning to use. She doesen't have her new sim card with her so i want to know how it is possible to unlock, a general unlock for every sim card? Should i use RedSn0w instead to jailbreak? Is this possible in any way?

Limited texting and imessage?

Okay so i have an iphone. And i have limited texting. Only 100 a month. Does that still apply to imessage? In other words, if i text friends that have an iphone and have imessage, does it still count in the 100 texts?
