Someone help I need to unlock the IMEI code from my Sprint iphone 5s I recently brought it from someone but it has a bad IMEI code on it so it won't work. I want to explore all my choices before I give up and let $200.00 go down the drain.
I dropped my iPhone 5s in water, but quickly removed it from the water, dried it off, and submerged the phone in rice, however I did not turn the phone off automatically but later did when it started flashing and saying "no SIM card." Does it still have a chance of surviving or is it too late since I did not turn it off automatically?
I was fishing with my cousin and I sliped down this steep slope and my phone was under water with me in this river! I went to my cousins house and put it in rice… Few minutes later I picked up my phone and the screen was working and I could swipe and what not. But power button didn't work. The flash light ( camera flash) wouldn't turn off also… My uncles friend told me to keep it in rice and let it die… I couldn't turn it off so I just let it die… Today I went home and plugged it in the charger… And it was charging! The apple logo appeared and light came on again, then random writing popped up above the logo.
My dad said he is taking it to this guy who cleans and fixes phones… And I was just wondering is this phone repair guy going to need my passcode? I don't understand why he would but will he?
A while back, I got a VISA gift card and I used it to purchase an app on my iphone. But now, every time I try to download an app, it tells me there was a billing problem with my previous purchase. And I can't fix it because it needs the security code to the VISA gift card and I threw it away once I used all the money on it! So my question is can I fix this? And if so, how?

So, I'm buying a new laptop off Craigslist. The dude said that it needs a new "power board" and that it will only cost 15 dollars. What is that, and is he being honest? He said he'd throw in an iPhone 4s 16GB as well. I'm wondering if I'm being scammed here.
