I've searched allover the web and I found very varying responses to if I can jailbreak my iPhone with this OS.
Long story short, I had No choice but to update it to iOS 6.0.1 and now I want to jailbreak and unlock it so I can use it with another carrier (Telcel).
Can anyone tell me how to do this?
I have an old iphone 3gs which still works, but i've never updated it from when i first got it, so i have no software update button on my settings in general. And everytime i try to update it through itunes it says it hasn't got enough memory when it does, please help

Just got a new iPhone but can't seem to get any Twitter notifications? I already went to my Twitter and enabled the push notifications but I still don't get any! Help!
Added (1). Yeah, I know its for mentions/dms, etc only. I tried doing what you asked, it didn't work. Also I don't have any "Alert Style" option: s I set notifications on in both my phone settings AND Twitter settings. Also I have closed/restarted the app but it still doesn't work. :/

Apple won't replace my phone, unless I do a complete restore (phone is acting crazy), which I did. They told me I can't click restore from backup, and I have to do it as a create a new iphone. Now let's say I get my phone replaced, can I still restore from backup before I did the restore. Do I have access to my previous backups is my question. If so, how would I backup it and pick the backup I want.
I've looked everywhere and couldn't find anything that worked. I have Netflix but they don't have season 5 on there. Will someone please give me a link where I can watch off my iPhone?
I'm thinking of purchasing an iPhone 5, and i'm not sure if 16gb is okay for me? I'm the person who would be taking videos and pictures, but i wouldn't be downloading tv shows or movies (as I have an iPod touch for all that) i like to download apps, but yet again i would only be having my main ones on the Iphone as I have the iPod. I'm just wondering if that would be okay if anyone is like expert on things like this. I'm also wondering about the 'iCloud' has anyone ever had trouble with it and is it hard to use?
So I just got this iPhone and I only bought 3gb of data, but since my mom has unlimited data (she was grandfathered), is there a way that I can connect to her phone through Wi-Fi while she's using her 4G while on a road trip? Like ca. I set up a hotspot on her phone and then connect my phone to it? If so, how can we do that?
I already have the 4th generation ipod touch, and a broken ipad 1. My parents said that i can buy the iphone 5 or the ipad mini.
