Recently my iphone 4 running on 5.1.1 volume stopped working only works for videos but when doesn't work for incoming calls or apps. Anyone know how to fix this problem? I tried a hardware reset still no luck.
I restored my jailbroken iPhone 3GS and when it restarted it didn't read my sim card and said that i should put a sim card in on iTunes and on the activation bit of the phone. Is the phone just locked and i need to unlock it or is it ***?
When I go to talk to Siri on my 4s, she says "Sorry, I'm not able to help you right now, try again later". I tried to work her about 2 weeks ago as well and it said this still. Now, 14 or so days later she isn't responding with anything besides this. Did I do something wrong? Has anybody else had this problem, please help!
I'm using my iPhone to try and rent a movie from iTunes, using my dad's credit card.
Everytime I press "Rent movie" the green box goes bak to gray an says "Rent $4.99"
I've done this twice and it hasn't started downloading OR asked if I want the purchase on the credit card. I'm worried because I don't want to end up renting the movie more than once, or something.
This is my first time renting a movie and probably my last.
Any tips on how to get the movie to download?
I'm from Canada, if that means anything, at all.
I have the Iphone 4S and I want to change the ringtone to Dangerzone from Top Gun. I have the song on my phone in my music. When I go on Settings>sounds>ringtone, it just comes up with the ringtones that's the phone comes with so I click on 'buy more tones' and click on Purchased and there's a button at the top saying 'Download all' and a button next to the song saying 'Downloaded' but how do I make that song my ringtone or have I done it all wrong? If anyone knows what to do it would be all appreciated if you shared it with me- thank you!
I have an iPhone 3G that I have jailbroken and installed the iPad baseband (6.15.00) using redsn0w 0.9.6b6. I have installed ultrasn0w. Allowed the phone to respring. It will not locate my T-Mobile service. I have rejailbroken it twice both times reinstalling the iPad baseband. I have tested the sim card in other unlocked iPhone 3Gs and it works perfectly. It starts out with 1 bar of service, then goes to searching, then says no service. Please any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'd like to be able to turn Wi-Fi either on or off at home via iPhone App or some other method at work. When my kids finish homework, I'll turn on the Wi-Fi. Until then, it remains off.
My only thought is to use a IP controlled switch to physically cut the power to a Wi-Fi router.
Any suggestions on how I may be able to control the router remotely?
This will be my first iphone so i don't know what memory to get. I have an ipod but its only 8gb and i've used all of it up. I'm gonna be using the phone alot. I'm gonna have lots of music, apps, photos and recordings on it and maybe some films. Also should i get the iphone 4 or 4s?

I broke my Iphone 4s to where it will no longer even turn on. I figured I would buy a new one and I found one on craigslist and bought it. I switched the sim cards in them but it says the iphone is still not activated. I'm not sure what to do now. I figured this would be easy…
Okay. Does my battery die quickly because I charge it over night? And does it kinda mess it up? I've heard it does that. If so, then how and when do I charge my iPhone? How can I make it so my battery life lasts longer?
