Well I had an I phone 4 but I used it like an iPod and I tried to update it to the IOS 7 but it wouldn't work so I tried to update it with ITunes but that didn't work either, during the process of updating an error occurred and a message popped up saying I had to restore the phone, so when I tried to restore it, during the process when it was almost done an other error occurred, now it does that every time I try to restore it. What do I do?
I have just bought a second hand unlocked iPhone 3GS off of eBay. The phone works fine but when i put in my contract tesco sim, it doesn't work and just says no service. What can I do?
So supposedly " find my iphone " is suppose to be the best way to track your iphone and find it. When its really not. So say it say your phone "offline" because it has no Wi-Fi… Then what we suppose to do? Nothing. So i'm confused. So anyway I lost my phone today at school. The battery not dead but I know in some spots of the school you get no service. (and btw I know somebody got it because they had to go thru my locker and look through my stuff) I just really wanna find my phone.new phone for the year and everything and I don't have the money to pay like $180 to get it back… So what do I do? Is there anything I can do or no?
So our iPad was stolen from our unlocked car about a week ago (we contacted the local cops and all that) in Indiana. We thought all hope was lost.
But maybe not anymore.
Currently, I'm receiving a few emails from Apple about resetting my Apple ID password. I never sent these requests, and I know I'm signed in on that iPad. They're trying to reset my iPad. Is there a way to ask Apple to pinpoint the IP these requests are coming from? If it is possible, we could find their IP, I could pinpoint it, and we could send the cops on their sorry asses.
QUICK NOTES:
-We had set up Find My iPhone on the iPad, but the thief or thieves had turned it off after stealing it.
-We contacted Apple, and we have the serial number for the iPad. There's also a return address sticker on the back, so it is not just lost.
-We know it was stolen because our entire car was ransacked. Money stolen, glasses stolen, glovebox open, wallets scoured, etc.
If anyone has any helpful information regarding contacting Apple and asking them to trace the IP these requests are coming from, it would be greatly appreciated.
I have an iphone 5, and i have unlimited texting. I guess i went way over my data usage, but I've been checking it and it didn't look like it did. I tend to send a lot of pictures. Does unlimited texting include sending pictures? When i turn off cellular data they won't send.
I've had tmobile for about 2 years. Since the iPhone 5s came out recently and tmobile has it. I'd like to know if I update my plan will I still be able to get the phone for $99? I won't have to change my number or anything like that, right?
Before someone tells me to Google, this, believe me, I have tried. For some reason I can't find any info on this issue.
Anyways, I'm getting horrible feedback from my new speakers. They are just some basic AUX speakers. When I plug them into my phone, they are fine. But when I plug them into any of the ports on my computer, they play this horrible, shrill, high pitched ringing noise.
I have figured out that when I press the end of the AUX cable up to any port on my computer (whether it be USB, sata, whatever), it plays the noise. I think it has something to do with the fact that there's more power coming from the computer than there's from my phone.
So is there any way I can fix this? It is really annoying, and I would rather not return the speakers if that is in any way possible. Thanks.
PS: I think that if there's a way to make the AUX connection only take information instead of taking information and also powering the port, that would work. But I'm not sure. I'm also not sure why it would work on my iPhone but not my computer.
Added (1). Like I said, the speakers make the exact same when pressed up against any powered port on the computer. Meaning the issue isn't with having the speakers plugged in, it's just having them pressed against the port. Or any port for that matter.
But yeah, I tried that and it didn't work. I disabled all my input devices, even the digital one that doesn't actually do anything (because nothing is plugged into it). But thanks.
At the moment I have a Galaxy S4 and I'm completely satisfied with it. All my friends have Iphones so I miss having Imessage. I considered getting an Ipod touch but that is a pain to tether every time to message my friends and it isn't as legit as having your number attached to Imessage. My family always has an upgrade lying around so I'm considering asking for an Iphone for my birthday so I can switch sim cards between the two. Any things I should consider to not do this? Or is this idea as good as I think it is?
Will the otterbox defender for the iphone 5 fit the 5c I'm getting the iPhone 5c and really want to get a otter box for it and I love the defender one but I like the ones for the 5 and I have no idea if it will fit 5c or not anyone know?
