Can you overcharge your iphone 4s?

I leave my iPhone 4s charging overnight so will the constant charge every night affect the battery life? Also, what is the average battery life on a 4s.

Iphone 4 Help- to do with imessage?

So i kind of need a bit of help,
i have an iphone 4 and i'm using my friends apple id account-( to download apps, and all )

so today i saw that when i click settings-messages, there's and option called 'send and receive'
In there there's 3 things- the apple id, ' you abe reached by imessage at ( and in there there's my Number and my friends email address, and under that there an other option called start new conversation from: and in there there's my number and my friends email address

so in the ' you can be reached by imessage at: (option) my mobile number and my friends email address are both ticked, but at the 'start new conversation from: (last option ) my mobile number is only ticked!

so my question is, are my imessages saving on my friends hotmail? Ar all the conversatin i'm having on there?

Added (1). She has an ipod, and what do you mean they can be streamed to thir device? How does it do that? And i changed it to my apple id now.
will they go on their ipo even if it wasn't clicked on their apple id on their last option?

I bought an iphone but it does not recognize the sim card?

I bought a used iphone 4, but it was the original, and everything was fine about it… It was at&t, and everything seemed fine about it. I bought it the us, and then took it russia. We used a working russian simcard, but it does not recognize it. When i put it in, it says "the carrier is not recognized" or something like that… I asked some other ppl, and they said i need to jailbreake it… I have a jailbroken iPod, and i know that jailbreakign can't do that, can it? If it can, what do i do? Do i download some kind of app from cydia? Please reply, i really want this phone to work…

What should I do about stolen iPhone?

My mother and her ex are engaged in a nasty split. They have children and he is being extremely difficult. Ok that is between them but in the summer my sister picked me up inn her fathers car (the ex) and I know I left my iPhone. I asked her but it was not found and that was in June. Fast forward and I learn that the ex has my iPhone and he became biligerent when my sister attempted to get the cell for me. Needless to say but we have different fathers. Now what should I do about getting my phone back? I called and the guy didn't answer my call. I find this weird and very distrubing. I need my phone. Any suggestions? Plus my mother is passive and she said "forget the phone he will lose his" I have pictures and texts that I would like to have.

How to know if my iphone 4 is factory unlocked?

I bought it of my friend on Friday, she put in the request to unlock it (at&t). She got a response saying wait a few days for a respond. Today she told me AT&T emailed her saying to just restore it to unlocked it. So I backed it up, then restored it to my backup… Then nothing. Was I suppose to restore it completely then back it up? Because I restored it to my back up but I'm not sure if that makes a difference. How do I know whether it was successful or not? (I didn't get any message saying my phone is now unlocked.)

IPhone speaker not working after water damage

So, while having a bath about a week ago, my phone decided to do a suicide dive off the side of the tub and into the water, it was only under water for maybe ten seconds and it did have one of the Kate Spade cases on. I instantly dried it and went and got some rice. I tried turning it off but it would turn itself back on. I left it in rice overnight and then tried the Q-tip trick the next day. Everything is fine. Except for my speaker. I can get calls just fine, I sometimes get text sounds. But I can't play music or listen to YouTube videos. I have tried every possible trick out there, I need some new ideas! So if anyone had ANYTHING that will fix it please let me know!

Will my iPhone work in Japan?

I'm going to Tokyo soon, and I wanted to know if I should bring my cell phone. It's an iPhone 4 (3G) with AT&T. I wanted to use it to guide me through Tokyo, and to contact people in case I meet anyone during my trip.

I've been searching around for info, but I couldn't really find a concrete answer. Some say it won't get coverage and won't work at all, others say it will work with data roaming but it will be very expensive.

In that case, should I rent a phone at the airport? How expensive is it, and is it worth it if I'm staying for a week?

IPhone newbie. I need advice?

I have always had an Android. I dropped it and broke the screen. I was able to upgrade to an iPhone for free. My question is this: is there any app that has free songs on it already? Not looking for an app that takes me to a website. Androids have tons of apps that have tons of songs in their libraries. So far, I can't find an iPhone app that does.

My iPhone is brand new and is acting up already?

Okay, so I just got my iPhone less than a week ago. When I FaceTime with my boyfriend, the lighting goes darker and lighter really quickly. Almost like flickering, except the screen doesn't go completely black when it flickers. Also, sometimes my FaceTime screen will just go completely black. I won't be able to see myself and either will he, but I can see him and audio works fine. I was convinced my phone was possessed. But, anyways. I tried looking it up, but didn't find anyone with the same problem.
